Sudbury Resident Joins Greater Boston Food Bank's Board
Diane Bevan, a longtime resident of Sudbury, was picked to join the board of advisors at Greater Boston Food Bank.
SUDBURY, MA - Diane Bevan, a resident of Sudbury for 25 years, was named to the Greater Boston Food Bank’s (GBFB) board of advisors. Bevan has worked with GBFB since 1999, and has organized fundraising events and volunteered at the food distribution warehouse.
GBFB, a nonprofit, is the biggest hunger-relief organization in New England and one of the largest food banks in the country. Bevan will bring with her over two decades of marketing experience as she and the rest of GBFB work to combat food insecurity in Eastern Massachusetts.
“I believe food insecurity in Massachusetts is a solvable challenge,” said Bevan. She’s also served on the board of the Boston Leadership Council for Save the Children.
