2 Sudbury Women Involved In Snowmobile Accident
Two Sudbury women were involved in a snowmobile accident in New Hampshire. One was sent to a nearby hospital with serious injuries.
SUDBURY, MA - A Sudbury woman was injured in a snowmobile accident in Lincoln, New Hampshire, according to the New Hampshire Fish and Game Department.
Around 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 9, the fish and game department responded to a reported accident at Bog Pond Trail in Lincoln. Humaira Mahmud, 58, of Sudbury, made a sharp turn on a rented snowblower, causing the vehicle to tip over. The passenger, Ayesha Siddika, 49, of Sudbury was injured and taken to Littleton Regional Hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
While the investigation into the accident is ongoing, the Fish and Game Department said inexperience appeared to be the main contributing factor.
