Beginning at 3 pm there will be refreshments, discussions and interpretive signage in the park highlighting its features. Visitors are welcome to discover the park and its features, flora and fauna, and how science and sculpture came together in the creation of the stone sun circle.
There will be face painting and popcorn for the kids and the members of the CIA Board of Directors will be on hand for a fun meet and greet, featuring wine and light bites.
“We invite everyone to attend—friends and neighbors, newcomers and regular beachgoers alike,” said CIA president Lynn Nadeau. “Our park is so much more than just a way to get to the beach. We want to help people discover this little gem that bridges two communities and is open to all.”
This is a free, family friendly event and there will be no charge for parking in the lot. The rain date will be Sunday, August 30th.
