First 'Colossal Millions' Grand Prize Scratch Ticket Sold On North Shore

The Lynn woman won the first $1 million grand prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery's "$15,000,000 Colossal Millions" instant game.

LYNN, MA — The first grand prize-winning ticket in the new Massachusetts State Lottery "$15,000,000 Colossal Millions" game landed on the North Shore.

Sammantha Kheav-Pech of Lynn claimed her $1 million prize in the new game that went on sale on April 15. She claimed the $650,000 one-time payment, before taxes, and said she plans on saving the winnings as well as sharing them with her family.

The winning ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven 50 Bass Ave. in Gloucester. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for its sale of this ticket.
