Shuttle Buses Coming Back To North Shore Commuter Rail Line In March
The MBTA said commuter regular fares will be collected from Swampscott to the north end of the Rockport/Newburyport line on March 20 to 28.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Pack your patience and leave your bicycle at home if you are traveling the North Shore commuter rail from March 20 to March 28.
The latest work project will bring the latest round of shuttle bus replacement service from Swampscott to North Station. Shuttle buses will be used in place of trains for that stretch of the Rockport/Newburyport line to accommodate the ATC signal work.
The MBTA said bicycles are not allowed on shuttle buses.

Regular commuter rail fares will be collected between Swampscott and the Newburyport/Rockport stations. Shuttle buses will serve Swampscott, Lynn and North Station with no stops at Chelsea and River Works during these dates.
