Swampscott To Begin Using CodeRED Alert System
Residents can sign up to start getting the alerts via mobile app, SMS text, and email as of Dec. 1.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents will begin to be able to receive alerts from the town through several different notification methods on Dec. 1 when the town becomes part of the OnSolve CodeRED network.
Residents can sign up to receive the alerts via mobile app, SMS text, email and more.
The town will use the CodeRED system to post alerts about weather, elections, public health, road and traffic, sanitary sewer overflows, trash and recycling, community events and to distribute a monthly newsletter.

The town will continue to post the same information from the notices/alerts on the town website and its other social media outlets.
