Swampscott Free Retirement Readiness Event At Senior Center
The event focusing on both financial and social-emotional needs is set for March 22 at the Swampscott Senior Center.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott residents eyeing retirement or who are recently retired are encouraged to attend a free retirement readiness event at the Senior Center later this month.
The seminar will focus on both the financial and social-emotional aspects of retirement.
Sponsored by the Swampscott For All Ages Committee, the event is set for March 22 from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The years leading up to retirement are called the "red zone," and they are the perfect time to prepare and ensure you are on the right track for the next chapter. Factors to consider include financial preparation, emotional readiness and purpose, and everything you'll need to know
about Social Security and Medicare.
Speakers Bill Harris, Dorian Mintzer, and Marcia Mantell will touch on key topics to help you assess your readiness and will be available for questions and conversation afterward.

Space is limited to 100 people. Sign-up is required by calling the Senior Center at 781-596-8866. A box lunch will be served, and prizes will be raffled off.
