SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A Swampscott tradition will continue this year under new direction with the Recreation Department taking over organization of the Garden Art Walk from the former ReachArts.

ReachArts, which organized the Garden Art Walk, Made By 01907 and PorchFest, ceased operations this spring following the passing of longtime leader Heidi Shear.

But Swampscott Recreation has taken on the responsibility of hosting the annual Garden Art Walk with a mission to build on ReachArts' legacy by continuing this enriching, community-centered event.
