Swampscott Rash Of Car Break-Ins Over Weekend: Police
Police advised residents to make sure their cars are locked.
SWAMPSCOTT, MA — Swampscott police are urging residents to make sure their cars are locked at all times when left unattended after a rash of break-ins last weekend.
Police did not say where the break-ins occurred or what was stolen.
"Please take a moment at the end of the night to make sure your vehicle doors are locked," police said. "Leaving cars unlocked is a common way thieves steal items, even for a quick moment."
