Swampscott Rash Of Home, Car Break-Ins Reported: Police

Swampscott said a home was entered overnight during the holiday weekend, while there were "multiple car breaks" Monday night.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — A Swampscott home was entered and there were "multiple car breaks" across the town over the holiday weekend as police look for information and potential surveillance video on the rash of crimes.

Police said a home and vehicle were entered overnight on Jan. 1 in the area of Pinhill Road and Sargent Road. They said they were also investigating multiple car breaks in the Clarke School area during the overnight hours from Monday night into early Tuesday morning.

"If you have a surveillance camera, please check for anything or anyone suspicious," police said. "If your vehicle was one that was gone through, please call (Swampscott police)."
