Three Boys Arrested for Motor Vehicle Breaking and Entering

At 12:12 a.m., a noise complaint came in about some young adults playing basketball. They were told to stop playing.
At 12:22 a.m., a call came in about a person sleeping in a vehicle parked at the C&L Package Store. The person checked out and told police they had just gotten off work and were tired.

At 1:43 a.m., a resident reported a loud group on Devens Road. Police were unable to locate anyone.
At 1:55 a.m., a couple of callers reported the sound of gunshots or fireworks coming from the woods near the quarry.

At 2:05 a.m., a 40-year-old man overdosed. He was administered two doses of nasal Narcan and transported to the hospital.
At 5:59 a.m., a caller reported a shirtless, shoeless man wandering in the area of Middlesex and Norfolk. Police didn’t locate anyone matching the description.
At 9:42 a.m., vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported.
At 10:05 a.m., kayaks were reported stolen from Carson Terrace.
At 12:55 p.m., a caller reported four youths were harassing an elderly man on a bike. The incident occurred about an hour before the call came in.

At 9:24 p.m., a caller reported a motor vehicle breaking and entering was occurring in the area of Cedar Hill Terrace and Humphrey Street. Following an investigation, police arrested three juvenile males and charged them with breaking and entering a motor vehicle.
At 9:59 p.m., police arrested Jorge Juarez, 21, of Lynn. A caller reported that a white pick-up truck struck a fence and tree on Essex Street. Police charged Juarez with operating under the influence of liquor, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, leaving the scene of a crash with property damage, marked lanes violation and operating without a license.
At 10:26 p.m., a caller reported kids to be jumping in and out of traffic on Windsor Street. An officer spoke with the kids, who were playing ball, and advised them to stay out of traffic.
At 10:46 p.m., a log entry notes that a person under arrest is “highly intoxicated and possibly needs medical attention.” An ambulance was dispatched to the station and the person was transported to Salem Hospital.
