2 Teens Fatally Shot In Lynn 1 Day After Triple Shooting

LYNN, MA — Two boys, ages 16 and 19, were killed in a shooting in Lynn late Wednesday night, according to the Essex County District Attorney's Office.

The teens' deaths come shortly after three people were injured in a triple shooting at the Pizza Hut on State Street Tuesday night. Those three victims are in stable condition, officials said.

"Over the holiday weekend, the City of Lynn has unfortunately seen an increase in gun-related violence," the District Attorney's Office said in a news release Thursday. "Authorities are working closely with my office to bring those responsible to justice."
Lynn Police Chief Christopher Reddy called the attacks "targeted," urging anyone with information to call investigators at 781-477-3190.

"The Lynn Police Department and the Massachusetts State Police have committed
significant resources to these investigations and will continue to do so until the offenders are held accountable," Reddy continued.
