U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton To Speak At North Shore Vietnam Veterans Breakfast
The free breakfast for veterans and their families will be held at the Swampscott Senior Center on Friday morning.

SWAMPSCOTT, MA — North Shore veterans from the Vietnam War era and their families are invited to the next E. F. Gilmore Disabled American Veterans breakfast on Friday.
U.S. Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Salem) will address the veterans at the free breakfast that will be held at the Swampscott Senior Center at 8:30 a.m.
The breakfast is to commemorate the 52nd anniversary of March 29, 1973, which was the day the United States Military Assistance Command in Vietnam was disestablished, and also the day the last U.S. combat troops departed Vietnam.

Hanoi released the last of its acknowledged prisoners of war near this day.
"It is important that we recognize the sacrifice these veterans have made and thank them for their service," said Jeffrey Blonder, Commander of the E. F. Gilmore DAV.

The breakfast is free and veterans are encouraged to bring family members who want to celebrate with them.
