2 Charged In Tewksbury Drug-Dealing Case, Police Say

Officers siezed fentanyl, cocaine, and crack-cocaine during the investigation.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Two people were charged with drug trafficking and possession following a bust in Tewksbury, police said.

Police were in the area of 600 Ames Hill Drive in an ongoing investigation Wednesday at 8:28 p.m.

Police said they spotted two people taking part in a drug deal.

Officers recovered 29.4 grams of fentanyl, 31.8 grams of cocaine, 15.3 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia during the investigation.

Dionviles Mejia, 25, of Lawrence, was charged with two counts of trafficking in 18 grams or more of heroin/morphine/opium/fentanyl, trafficking 18 grams or more of cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute a class B drug, which he has been previously charged with.

Kaitlin Roche, 39, of Fitchburg, was charged with trafficking in 18 grams or more of heroin/morphine/opium/fentanyl, trafficking 18 grams or more of cocaine, and possession with intent to distribute a class B drug.

They were both arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday.
