2 Men Face Drug Charges In Tewksbury, Police Say
Two men were charged following an apparent drug deal in Tewksbury earlier this week, police said.
TEWKSBURY, MA – Two men were arrested on drug charges recently, according to police.
The Tewksbury Police Narcotics Unit saw what appeared to be a drug deal on Ward Street involving a black 2004 Nissan Titan and another person Wednesday at 7:15 p.m.
Police stopped the Nissan and identified the driver as Shawn Rich, 32, of Tewksbury.

Police searched him and said they found a small clear bag holding a white powdery substance they believed to be cocaine.
Police identified the other person as James Brooks, 49, of Tewksbury. Police searched Brooks also finding a small bag of a white powdery substance they believed to be cocaine as well as cash.

Both men were arrested.
Brooks was charged with distribution of a class B drug (subsequent offense) and two counts of possession with intent to distribute a class B drug (subsequent offense).
Rich was charged with possession of a class B drug.
They were arraigned in Lowell District Court on Thursday.
