Are You Disappointed Airport Diner Closed Permanently?
The Airport Diner closed its doors for good at the beginning of the month, citing an "unexpected turn of events."
Tewksbury residents looking for a place to grab breakfast lost out on one option at the beginning of this month when the Airport Diner closed its doors for good.
On June 1, the business posted to its Facebook page that it would be permanently closed, though the exact reason remains unclear. An attempt by Tewksbury Patch to reach the business for further explanation was unsuccessful.
"After careful consideration, we have decided to close The Airport Diner permanently," Airport Diner posted on Facebook, signing it from Chris and Ann. "This decision did not come lightly, but due to an unexpected turn of events, this was the right decision for us. We will miss the many people we have met over the years. Thank you so much for the years of letting us serve you."
In a separate post last week, the business posted "For those that miss his cooking, Carlos is now at the Dream Diner in Tyngsboro."
Several customers have commented on the posts, expressing their disappointment that their favorite breakfast spot is no longer in business.
