Broadrick to Officially Become Shawsheen Tech Superintendent Oct. 1

Shawsheen Tech’s Technical Director Timothy Broadrick will officially take the helm as superintendent on Oct. 1.

Broadrick, who was the finalist to replace retiring Superintendent Charlie Lyons, officially signed a contract Tuesday to take over leadership of the school, the Lowell Sun is reporting

Broadrick, who most recently was the school’s director of technical programs, has held various roles at the school for the past 12 year.

Lyons has been superintendent at Shawsheen for almost three decades. He announced he was retiring back in March.

Shawsheen Tech serves the towns of Billerica, Bedford, Burlington, Tewksbury and Wilmington.
