Brush Fire Near Hill Street Ext. and Brook Street

TEWKSBURY, MA - Tewksbury Firefighters are battling a brush fire near Hill Street Ext. and Brook Street Wednesday afternoon.

Initial reports of that brush fire came in just before 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Residents are asked to avoid the area.

The National Weather Service issued a Red Flag Warning for all of Massachusetts from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday. The dry weather, low humidity and gusty conditions were expected to bring critical fire weather conditions to the area.
