Carjacking and Bank Robbery Suspect Arrested in NH

TEWKSBURY, MA - A New Hampshire man wanted as the suspect in a carjacking, an attempted carjacking and a bank robbery this week has been arrested in New Hampshire.
Michael Munroe of Raymond, NH, wanted in a carjacking in Tewksbury, an attempted carjacking in Reading, and for robbing a bank in New Hampshire, NH over the span of three days was arrested Saturday in Hancock, NH.

Munroe was named as a person of interest in all three cases. Police also arrested Rebecca Norton, 29, of Raymond, NH.
On Wednesday, March 30 Tewksbury Police responded to the Dress Barn located at 10 Main St. for a report of female who had been robbed as she left work.

As the victim approached her vehicle she was grabbed and had her purse taken as well as her vehicle. The vehicle was recovered in Wilmington with no sign of the suspect. The victim was not physically harmed.
Tewksbury Police detectives were able to identify Munroe through surveillance video and from a previous drug arrest on March 29 (possession with intent to distribute heroin at Wal-Mart).
On Thursday, just before 12:30 p.m., Reading Police Department received a report of an attempted carjacking in the lot of the Home Goods store at 1342 Main Street. The suspect fled the scene prior to police arrival.
On Friday morning, Munroe became the the prime suspect in a bank robbery in Seabrook, NH.
