
A motor vehicle stop on Hood Road led to a drug bust on Monday.
Officers pulled over a car with New Hampshire plates around 6:40 p.m. because they felt the driver was acting suspiciously. Turns out he wasn't acting.
After a brief investigation, Elliot Feliciano, 27, 48 Melvit St. Apt. 919, Lawrence, was arrested. Feliciano was charged with possession of a Class B substance with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate Massachusetts Drug Laws. For Class B substances, intent to distribute indicates an amount greater than 14 grams.

Police were called to apartment building on Ames Hill Drive after a female caller reported hearing bangs and what sounded like a fight coming from another apartment.

Officers responded to the scene and, after a brief investigation, left.
Sgt. Coviello reported that the residents of the apartment, a husband and wife, had been "enjoying each other's company."
Alarms pay off
Around 1:25 a.m., a call was received from the ADT security company regarding an alarm going off at the Rite-Aid Pharmacy on Andover Street. Officers responded to the scene and discovered that the front door had been smashed in, though it did not appear the would-be burglar entered the building. Detectives are investigating the incident.
Busy Wednesday
Officer responded to a handful of minor vehicle accidents, including a two-car crash at the intersection of Whipple Road and Rogers Street that sent one woman to the hospital with minor injuries. Also, a wire came down on Maple Street, being police and fire units to the location. Power was out to more than 2,300 customers for around 90 minutes.
