Dylan Cullen of Tewksbury was recently recognized for excellence in the Champlain College Core Division on April 22.

The students, who were nominated by Core faculty, had the opportunity to see their work in print in Audeamus, an annual collection of essays produced in collaboration with the Champlain College Publishing Initiative. The students celebrated their accomplishments with faculty and staff at a book launch.

Champlain College’s Core curriculum is designed to prepare students to be intellectual leaders. To promote the ability to express, defend and expand ideas, Core classes are discussion-oriented, problem-based and experiential. Faculty and students partner to explore questions from multiple perspectives in order to understand how different disciplines construct and convey knowledge.
