Methuen/Tewksbury lost to Notre Dame Academy in the quarterfinals of the 2016 MIAA Ice Hockey Girls Division 2 tournament Saturday night 8-2.
Methuen/Tewksbury went 16-1-3 for the season.

Notre Dame Academy goes on to play Matignon Monday night in the division semi finals. The winner of that game moves on to the finals against either Plymouth or Wellesley. The Girls Division 2 tournament finals is set for Sunday, March 20 at the TD Garden
