Ally Greene tallied four goals goals to lead Tewksbury to a 5-0 win over Lawrence in Merrimack Valley Conference field hockey action on Thursday.

Greene's four goals were a career high for the senior. Tewksbury also got a goal from Sherri Liggiero. Leanne Tucker had a strong all-around game in the  midfield for the Redmen (1-1).

Shawsheen Tech remained unbeaten and unscored on this season, improving to 4-0-0 with a 1-0 win over Blackstone Valley. Keeper Jen Curtis made 12 saves for her third shutout of the season.

Shawsheen got all the offense they would need from Rachel Blanchard, who scored midway through the first half. Kristen Carroll notched the assist. Taylor Bergstrom, Amanda Vance and Melissa Irwin also had excellent games for Shawsheen.

Tewksbury 6

The Redmen dropped to 2-3 on the year after a 14-6 loss to Andover at Indian Ridge. Tyler Slavin was one of the few bright spots for TMHS, shooting a 38 and winning his match, 2-up. Craig Semenza shot a 40 and won his match, 3-and-2. Mark Petti shot a 43.
