July 4 Fireworks 2022 Near Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA — Cities and counties across the country continue to bring back many of the traditional Independence Day activities that were either canceled or modified the last two years. July 4 is just around the corner, so it's time to find out what Fourth of July fireworks and festivities are going on near you in 2022.

Here's what's in store this July 4 near Tewksbury:

Tewksbury Independence Day Celebration

Where: Livingston Street Recreation Center

When: 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., July 3

The Tewksbury Rotary Club kicks off the festivities with a continental breakfast featuring Donna's Donuts. The fun continues all day long, with games, contests, face painting and more, ending with a fireworks show at 9:30 p.m.

Chelmsford 4th of July Parade

Where: Starts at McCarthy School and ends at the center of town

When: 10 a.m.

Chelmsford is also hosting its traditional John Carson Road Race earlier in the day.

Where: Along Route 3A and Winn Street, between Pine Glen Elementary and Marshall Simonds Middle School

Wilmington Fun on the Fourth

Where: Wilmington Common

When: Thursday, June 30 to Sunday, July 3

Wilmington has a packed weekend schedule of fun for the whole family, including the Firecracker 5K & Family Fun Run, a weekend-long carnival and two fireworks displays.
