Kevin Alan Haley, a 2014 graduate of Tewksbury Memorial High School, graduated from Marine Corps Boot Camp on Friday, Aug. 28 at Parris Island, SC. Haley arrived at Parris Island on June 1 and completed the Crucible last Saturday, August 22 and earned the title of United States Marine. That same afternoon he was given a meritorious promotion of Private First Class by his Senior Drill Instructor.Haley will be on a 10 day leave when he plans to spend at home with his family before heading to Camp Lejeune, NC to continue training. Haley has been assigned to Alpha Co, 1st Recruit Training Battalion, Platoon, 1066.While a student at Tewksbury Memorial High School, Haley was a member of the 2013 TMHS Super Bowl Championship Team. Throughout his high school career he played on both the football and basketball teams.
