Letter to the Editor: In Support of Rob Rosa for Selectman

Tewksbury's Annual Town Election is Saturday, April 2.

To The Editor:

My name is Angie Geary and I have worked with and for Rob Rosa at Cisco Systems for over ten years. I am contacting you today to provide my strong and sincere endorsement for Rob as I understand he is pursuing a position on the board for the Town of Tewksbury.

Cisco is a company made up of tens of thousands of people worldwide and I’ve been fortunate to have the opportunity to work with and for a multitude of leaders in various capacities. I can honestly say that Rob Rosa is one of the best leaders I have ever encountered. There is never a problem that Rob can not solve and he does so by innovating when old ideas or processes are no longer working, utilizing his relationships to find the best resources for the job, keeping himself educated with industry knowledge, and emoting his genuine desire for success.

I believe Rob’s corporate qualities highlighted above would transfer incredibly into the local government space as a result.

I also know how passionate Rob is about his community. If you know Rob Rosa, you know Tewksbury, MA because he is always talking about his town and it is clear how devoted he is to bettering the Town for his kids and longtime residents as well. Rob is so dedicated to Tewksbury that he even scheduled a team building event for our team at Strongwater Farm. Employees flew in from around the country to volunteer at the farm. We lodged in Tewksbury and took advantage of the local businesses and attractions. Coming from a small town myself, I would want someone like Rob on my local government board because it is clear how much he wants to put Tewskbury on the map. He goes out of his way to support local business, organizations, and sports programs!
