LETTER: Finegold Deserves Re-Election

To the Editor:

I am writing as a typical middle class Tewksbury resident tired of the partisan rhetoric going on during this campaign season. Watch the TV and all you see on the ads is back and forth negative chat about this and that. It seems like no one is taking the side of the voters.

On a local level and in our Senate race I am looking for a candidate that will not vote in lockstep with his party and who reaches across the aisle to come up with solutions. I want to be represented by a candidate who will not only have an independent voice in the Senate, but one who also votes what is best for the community even if it’s not a  politically popular one to do. Barry Finegold stands up for the Tewksbury communities needs. He has been incredibly active in our community and I think his core values align with those of most of our residents and their families.

He has worked with Democrats and Republicans on legislation that helps businesses and homeowners in our everyday struggles to make ends meet. He is not about towing the party line or blaming anyone for problems in our state. Barry is all about collaborating with local officials, fellow senators, representatives, and business people alike to come up with common sense solutions to problems as they come about.

I hope you consider voting for State Senator Barry Finegold on Nov. 6^th because he will continue to be an independent voice who stands up for Tewksbury.
