In Loving Memory of Peter S. Teel

Peter S. Teel, 71, beloved husband, father and grandfather (“Grumpy”), passed away in his home in Florida on March 1, 2025. Born in Reading, MA he was the son of the late Barbara Teel (Spillane) and Donald Teel. Peter attended Reading schools and married Monica Teel (Loth) of Melrose, MA.

He was a sharp wit, an animated storyteller, loved to watch sports and go fishing. He loved to coach, teach and inspire people. He was a baseball coach of multiple youth teams in Tewksbury and a player in a men’s softball league. Peter loved going on vacations with his family and friends to Sanibel Island, FL and Boothbay Harbor, ME.

He leaves his wife, Monica Teel of Tewksbury their children Kellcie and Sean Teel, daughter in law, Brandi Bey; sister Julie Arnheiter of Boston, her husband Michael and their children Jack and Maxine Arnheiter; sister Susan Teel of Springvale, ME, her husband Tracy Jillson and their children Christopher and Kai Jillson. His brother Timothy Teel of North Reading was predeceased.

He also leaves his adored grandson’s Jayce Timothy and Jameson Nathaniel Teel of Tampa, FL.
