Man Sold Fentanyl, Crack Cocaine In Tewksbury, Police Say

Police said they arrested two people following a drug deal last week.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Two men were charged in a Tewksbury drug case, police said.

Police spotted what they believed to be a drug deal Friday on Pike Street. They detained Noe Ojeda, Jr., 26, of Lowell, and Thomas V. Ferraro, Jr., 49, of Tewksbury.

Police searched Ojeda's vehicle and said they found 1.1 grams of crack cocaine, 33.8 grams of fentanyl, and $1,159 in cash.

Police later learned that Ferraro had outstanding warrants from Framingham District Court for drug and motor vehicle charges.

Ojeda was charged with distribution of a class B drug, trafficking in 18 to 36 grams of cocaine, and trafficking in more than 18 grams of fentanyl.

Ferraro was charged with possession of a class B drug, subsequent offense.

They will both be arraigned in Lowell District Court.
