Man Tried To Use Counterfeit $100 Bills At Tewksbury Store, Police Say
The bills were marked "For Motion Picture Purposes," police said. Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Police are searching for man accused of trying to use counterfeit $100 bills at a Walgreens.
The man entered the store at 935 Andover St. on Aug. 13 at 5:05 p.m. He passed counterfeit $100 bills marked "For Motion Picture Purposes," according to police.
The man then left in a gray Nissan with New York plates linked to a rental company.
