ME Man Arrested At Tewksbury Hotel After Fentanyl, Meth Found: Police

TEWKSBURY — A Maine man was arrested Tuesday at a Tewksbury hotel after police discovered fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine in the suspect's room, according to the Tewksbury Police Department.
Danny Taylor, 34, of Sanford Maine, was charged with trafficking over 200 grams of fentanyl, trafficking 18 to 36 grams of cocaine, trafficking 36 to 100 grams of methamphetamine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, possession of oxycodone with intent to distribute, carrying a dangerous weapon and being a fugitive from justice, police said.
Authorities said Taylor will be arraigned on those charges at a later date.

According to police reports, the Tewksbury PD was called to a hotel at 20 International Place at approximately 12:15 p.m. to conduct a well-being check on a male guest.
Inside the hotel room, officers found Taylor along with 270 grams of fentanyl, 43 grams of methamphetamine, 30 grams of crack cocaine, 14 grams of powdered cocaine, 10 oxycodone tablets and brass knuckles, according to authorities.

The department said officers also discovered there was a warrant out of Taylor's arrest in Maine.
