Multiple Drug Busts In Tewksbury Lead To 4 Arrests: Police

All four arrests involve separate drug cases over a two-day period, according to Tewksbury police.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Four people are behind bars and face multiple drug charges, according to Tewksbury police. All arrests involve separate drug cases over a two-day period.

On Tuesday, Tewksbury police responded to the Motel 6 on Main Street for a report of an "unwanted party." After arriving on scene, police said they encountered Shawn Carmack, 51, of Lowell and Wanda Quinonez, 52, of Lowell. An investigation ultimately led to the pair's arrest, officers said.

According to police, Quinonez was charged with distribution of crack cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute crack cocaine. Carmack was also charged with possession of crack cocaine and for two warrants.

On Wednesday, following an investigation in the area of 1775 Andover St., police said they arrested Jonathan Artis, 33, of Lowell. He has been charged with distribution of cocaine and possession with the intent to distribute cocaine, subsequent offense. Officers also arrested Michael Mooney, 55, of Melrose. He has also been charged with possession of cocaine.
