Kate Hudson in Andover This Week Shooting 'Clear History'

Kate Hudson was spotted this week in Andover shooting scenes for Larry David's movie "Clear History," according to Celebrity-Gossp.net.

Since September David has been using a $6.5 million mansion on Haggetts Pond Road in Andover to film scenes for the HBO flick. He has also been reported filming in Topsfield, Beverly and North Andover.

Several photos were captured of Hudson while filming earlier this week in Andover.

North Reading residents voted in favor of the Civil Fingerprinting town bylaw at Fall Town Meeting Monday night. According to the warrant, the purpose of the article was to establish a local bylaw to enable the police department to do fingerprint based criminal history checks for those applying for positions such as a door-to-door sales person, livery driver and others.

Man Arrested for Driving Through Picket Line

An already tense picket line at a Wilmington shipping company turned into a dangerous situation on Thursday when a man drove his truck through police officers, leading to his arrest.

Wilmington Deputy Police Chief Bob Richter said that at about 9 a.m., an independent truck driver pulled into the entrance of xpedx at 613 Main Street where workers were picketing. When police stopped the man at the picket line, he sped up and drove forward, forcing one of the officers to hang on to the side of the truck to avoid falling.

“We don’t yet know why he did what he did,” said Richter. “It was dangerous. The officers could have been hit. One officer was near the truck and another was on the steps of the truck when he took off. He had to hold onto the side of the truck while it was driven. It was quite dangerous, and luckily no one was hurt.”

DEP Dismisses Both Wilmington High School Appeals

Department of Environmental Protection hearings officer Timothy Jones allowed the town’s motion to dismiss both appeals of the Wilmington High School project, ending the latest effort by residents to stop construction of the new school.

Jones made the ruling in a document sent to the involved parties dated Thursday, October 4.

“We obviously are pleased with the decision, and frankly, it is what we expected,” said Newhouse. “The Town has believed from the outset that these two appeals are absolutely without merit. Our legal counsel, technical advisers and town officials have been very diligent throughout the course of these appeals.”
