Today's photo of the day is a picture of the Tewksbury High Cheerleaders with their awards from NCA camp at URI last week.  Here's a recap: Won 1st place in their performance competition-Recieved "Herkie" Team award for sportsmanship and teamwork. The following girls were nominated to try out for the NCA's prestigious "All American Team":  Courtney Spinelli, Paige Winn, Mel Somerville, Dede Somerville, Rachel Eatherton, Rachel Stronach, Renee Stronach, Jen Schultz, Amanda Romano, Marissa Liggiero, Jackie Giasullo, Cortny Guttaduaro, Shauna Larry, and Mackenzie Carr-Jackie Giasullo and Courtney Spinelli were asked to apply to be NCA Cheerleaders.  This is a coveted invitation since it is only open to only the best cheerleaders at camp. Earned 4 "Spirit Sticks" for team spirit. The season starts next Monday, Aug. 22, look out for the TMHS cheerleaders this year, coach Kim Doherty says!
