Police Arrest Tewksbury Man for Intent to Distribute Heroin

A local woman was also taken into police custody related to the arrest.

Tewksbury Police arrested a local man Monday on drug charges, while a Tewksbury woman was also arrested in the same incident.

Tyler Flaherty, 23, of 20 Boisvert Toad, Tewksbury, was charged with two counts of possession with the intent to distribute Class A drugs.

The Class A drug charge was brought against him for intending to distribute heroin, Tewksbury Police said.

Officers conducted a search warrant at Flaherty's home as a part of the arrest.

In addition, Megan Anderson, 21, also of 20 Boisvert Road, Tewksbury, was arrested and charged with knowingly being present where heroin is kept.

Both Flaherty and Anderson were scheduled to be arraigned in Lowell District Court on Wednesday.
