Search for New Superintendent of Schools Set to Begin
School Committee decides criteria for Supt. O'Connor's successor, as well as the make up of the Superintendent Search Committee.

More progress is being made as the Tewksbury School Committee begins the process of searching for a new Superintendent of Schools following Superintendent John O’Connor’s announcement he would be retiring at the end of the school year.
Last month two open forums were held for parents, guardians and community members to help the committee gain community input to help them with the process. Residents were also invited to give input via an online form.
This week School Committee members approved both the make up of the Superintendent Search Committee and and the criteria for O’Connor’s replacement.
