The crash involving a motorcycle occurred on the Lowell Connector outbound near the exit for Industrial Avenue in Lowell.

LOWELL, MA – Massachusetts State Police are investigating a fatal motorcycle accident in Lowell Sunday morning that claimed the life of a Brockton man.
State Police say Sunday morning at about 11:30 a.m., officers from the Andover barracks responded to a report of a crash involving a motorcycle on the Lowell Connector outbound near the exit for Industrial Avenue in Lowell, which resulted in the death of the operator.
A preliminary investigation by Trooper Gregory Zanni of the 82nd RTT and his Field Training Officer Trooper Kyle Flanagan indicates the male operator, 21, of Brockton was traveling outbound on a 2008 Yamaha R6 when he lost control of the motorcycle, causing him to crash and ultimately strike the guardrail adjacent to the roadway. Police say the operator sustained fatal injuries as a result of that impact, and was pronounced dead at the scene.
