Tewksbury Boys Lacrosse Receives Postseason Assignment

The MIAA released its boys lacrosse pairings on Friday, and the Redmen are in the big dance.

The Tewksbury Memorial High School boys lacrosse team played its way into the postseason. And on Friday the Redmen received their playoff assignment.

To start the weekend, the Massachusetts Interscholastic Athletic Association released the match ups for the North Division 2 bracket.

Tewksbury earned the No. 7 in the tournament thanks to a 13-7 regular season record.

As a result, the locals will travel to face Wakefield in the quarterfinal round after both teams were given a first round bye. The teams will hit the field on Saturday, May 31, in a game scheduled for 5 p.m.

The winner of that contest will take on either No. 3 Beverly or No. 6 Danvers in the semifinal round.
