Tewksbury Heroes: Help Patch Recognize People Making A Difference
Residents have nominated local essential workers, volunteers and health care workers. Help us recognize more people.
TEWKSBURY, MA — The adage 'not all heroes wear capes' is more apparent now than ever. Countless people are putting themselves in danger by simply showing up to work in essential roles for our communities, risking possible infection from the new coronavirus.
At the height of the outbreak in Massachusetts, over 100 Tewksbury residents had the virus. Sixty-five residents have died, as of June 22.
Doctors, nurses, police and grocery store workers alike are just some of the professions with a high potential for exposure to the virus. Patch wants to recognize as many of these heroes as possible. Tewksbury residents have made multiple nominations:
