Tewksbury High Grad Lands NFL Coaching Job
A coach who played linebacker for Tewksbury Memorial High School has made it to the National Football League.
TEWKSBURY, MA — The town is celebrating the accomplishments of one of its own making it to the National Football League. Adam Fuller, a Tewksbury Memorial High School graduate, has been hired as a safeties coach for the L.A. Chargers, according to media reports.
"Congratulations to former Tewksbury Memorial High School 1994 graduate Adam Fuller for making it to the NFL as a coach for the L.A. Chargers!" police wrote on Facebook.
Previously, Fuller served as defensive coordinator for Florida State University. He will replace Chris O'Leary in L.A., who is now the defensive coordinator at Western Michigan University, according to reports.

Fuller will join a staff led by Head Coach Jim Harbaugh, whose first season with the Chargers saw significant improvement. The Chargers made the playoffs, losing in the wildcard round to the Houston Texans.
Fuller began his career as a linebackers coach for Worcester Polytechnic Institute in 1998, then moved on as defensive coordinator for Marshall University and Memphis University before landing in Florida, according to The Tewksbury Town Crier.

He was a linebacker while playing high school ball in Tewksbury and went on to play for Sacred Heart University.
