Tewksbury To Hold Tree Lighting Ceremony Dec. 3
The town's annual holiday celebration will feature treats, entertainment and an opportunity to meet Santa.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury will hold its annual holiday celebration and tree lighting Dec. 3, the Public Events and Celebrations Committee said Friday.
The celebration will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. on the Town Common, 1009 Main Street. The event is free.

- "Marshmallow roasting on open fires
- Staging of a beautiful ice sculpture donated by the Wilmington/Tewksbury Chamber of Commerce and its associated businesses
- Hot cider and donuts
- Balloon Animals, Carolers, and Ornament decoration stations
- Writing letters to Santa, and of course…
- Meet Santa and a couple of his helpful elves!"
Residents are encouraged to bring unwrapped toys for the local toy drive.
"Children in our community can benefit from your generosity," the committee said.

Parking will be available at Town Hall and the Annex, and Town Hall Avenue will be closed to through traffic. The Town Manager's Office and the Police, Fire and Public Works Departments are supporting the event.
