Tewksbury Library Hosting Zoom With Prominent Young Adult Authors

Maureen Johnson will be in conversation with Jennifer Lynn Barnes at 7 p.m. Wednesday. Adults and teens can register to receive a link.

TEWKSBURY, MA — The Tewksbury Public Library is giving its members an opportunity to join a Zoom webinar featuring two of the most prominent young adult authors.

At 7 pm. Wednesday, Maureen Johnson will be in conversation with Jennifer Lynn Barnes. Both have had books go to No. 1 on the New York Times Bestseller List.

The one-hour program is for adults and teens, who can register online. Registrants will receive a Zoom link via email.

Johnson is the author of more than a dozen young adult novels, which have sold more than 3 million copies worldwide. Her work includes: the Truly Devious series, the Shades of London series, "Suite Scarlett" and "13 Little Blue Envelopes."

Johnson also has collaborated with John Green and Lauren Myracle on "Let It Snow," which became a hit feature film on Netflix.

Barnes has written more than 20 acclaimed young adult novels, including: The Inheritance Games trilogy, "Little White Lies," "Deadly Little Scandals," "The Lovely and the Lost," and The Naturals series.

Barnes' most recent work, "The Final Gambit," is about Avery Kylie Grambs, who is about to inherit billions and become the richest teenager on the planet. However, trouble arrives in the form of a visitor who needs Avery's help, and whose presence can change everything.

Tewksbury Public Library is hosting the webinar in collaboration with 70 Massachusetts public libraries.
