Tewksbury Man Charged In Drug-Dealing Case, Police Say

A local man was arrested following a month-long investigation.

TEWKSBURY, MA — A Tewksbury man is facing drug dealing charges, according to police.

Police were notified of suspected drug activity in the area of Ferncroft Road on Aug. 29.

Following a month-long investigation, authorities determined that David MacKinnon, 57, of Tewksbury, had been selling drugs out of his home.

Police saw what appeared to be a drug deal between MacKinnon and another person Monday.

Police searched the home and recovered two grams of cocaine, items believed to be materials used to package drugs, and cash.

MacKinnon was charged with distribution of a class B drug and possession with intent to distribute a class B drug.

Another person involved, a 60-year-old Nashua, New Hampshire man, will be charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and operation of a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
