Tewksbury Moves Ahead With 'Super' Elementary School Project
School officials moving forward with proposal to consolidate four elementary schools into one school.

TEWKSBURY -- The Massachusetts School Building Authority has accepted the Tewksbury School District's move forward into the feasibility phase of the elementary-school building project, according to The Lowell Sun.
School officials the town's Elementary School Building Committee all attended the MSBA Board meeting earlier this month. The MSBA has informed the district of how many students it would be eligible to build a school for, should the project go forward.
The district wants to consolidate all four aging elementary schools into one large"super'' elementary school. The plan would consolidate the Trahan, Heath Brook, Dewing and North Street schools, housing between 1,100 and 1,200 students.
