Tewksbury Police Arrest 2, Charge With Gun Violations
A Reading man was charged with methamphetamine trafficking.

TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested two Wednesday following a narcotics investigation on Andover Street, the police said.
Adam Maksou, 35 of Reading, was charged with trafficking over 18 grams of methamphetamine, carrying a dangerous weapon (a double-edged knife), unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of a stun gun, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number and a subsequent offense of possession of a class b substance (naloxone/buprenorphine).
Gordon Gilchrist, 35 of Tewksbury, was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and possession of a firearm with a defaced serial number.

Both were due to be arraigned in Lowell District Court Thursday.
All people are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
