Tewksbury Police Arrest Armed Robbery Suspect

Suspect robbed the GoWireless Store on Main Street at gun point Wednesday night.

A Haverhill man has been arrested after an armed robbery at the GoWireless Store in Tewksbury Wednesday night.

On Wednesday, Sept. 9, Tewksbury Police arrested Isaiah Dotson, 25, of 440 North Ave. Apt. #207, Haverhill. He has been charged with armed robbery, kidnapping, intimidation of a witness, larceny over $250 and carrying a firearm without a license.

At approximately 8:30 p.m. Wednesday night, the Tewksbury Police responded to the GoWireless Store located at 345 Main St. for a report of an armed robbery. It was reported the suspect was armed with a handgun and had fled the store.

The lone employee was forced at gunpoint to the rear of the store and was instructed to open the safe. The suspect stole several cell phones and money. The victim was not physically injured.

The phones were tracked by GPS as the suspect fled, which led police to the suspect’s location in Lowell. Lowell Police conducted a stop of the vehicle and placed Dotson into custody. Numerous phones and money were recovered, along with a loaded .380 handgun.

Dotson appears to be the same suspect who robbed an AT&T store at gunpoint in North Andover on Sept. 4.

Dotson is due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Sept. 10.
