Tewksbury Police Arrest One, Charge With Identity Fraud
Tewksbury police arrested a 24-year-old New Hampshire woman in Cambridge, Saturday.
TEWKSBURY, MA — Tewksbury police arrested a New Hampshire woman and charged her with identity fraud, Saturday, the department said Tuesday.
Mariia Leontieva, 24, was charged with receiving stolen property over $1,200, identity fraud, larceny over $1,200 and possession of a false RMV document. She also had an active arrest warrant out of Wrentham District Court for identity fraud.
A Tewksbury resident reported to Tewksbury police that their identity was stolen and a $2,000 order was made using their credit card. The order was scheduled for pickup Saturday at the Cambridge Apple Store.

Cambridge and Tewksbury police staked out the store. They saw Leontieva arrive at the store around 2 p.m. and pick up the order made using the Tewksbury resident's credit card, according to the police officer.
Leontieva was arrested and police found a fake Massachusetts ID with the victim's information on it, police said.

She was arraigned in Lowell District Court, Tuesday, and released on personal recognizance. She is due back in court on Dec. 10.
All people are considered innocent until proven guilty.
