Tewksbury Police Make Prostitution Operation Arrest

Arrest followed an investigation of activities at the Extended Stay America Hotel on Andover Street.

Tewksbury police made an arrest in a prostitution operation over the weekend in town.

On Sunday, May 10, members of the Tewksbury Police Department arrested Julio Ortiz-Gonzalez, 23, of 19 Topliff Street (Apartment #3) in Dorchester, for an outstanding arrest warrant (Operating after License Suspension) and for the following offenses: Deriving Support from Prostitution, Carrying a Dangerous Weapon, Operate a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, and Operating an Uninsured and Unregistered Motor Vehicle.

Police say the arrest was a result of an investigation into the activities of Gonzalez at the Extended Stay America Hotel, located at 1910 Andover St.

Eliza Suy, 22, of 20 Powell Street in Lowell was also arrested on an outstanding arrest warrant for Sexual Conduct for a Fee.

Both are due to be arraigned at Lowell District Court on Monday, May 11.
