Tewksbury U14 Girls Trim Andover, Stand Alone in First Place
3-2 victory moves Tewksbury to 5-0 on the season.

On Tuesday Night at Turf Time in Tewksbury the TYSL GU14 girls team improved to 5-0 by defeating Andover 3-2 and now stand alone in first place.
in the contest with a blast past the Andover keeper and with a beautiful shot off a perfect crossing pass from Hannah Silvia for a 2-0 lead. The lead stayed at 2-0 at the half as again Michelle Farraher pitched a first half shutout in net for the locals.
The Andover team came out strong in the second half and cut the score to 2-1. That was short lived into the right corner for a 3-1 lead for the red ladies. Andover was determined and scored again to cut the score to 3-2 with around five minutes left in the game.

The defense of Tewksbury led by Haley Aznavoorian, Nicole Malfa, Michelle Farraher and some minutes for Stephanie Travis decided to shut down things after that and keep the record perfect heading into Christmas.
The offense of Aria Porzio (who had many scoring opportunities) and relentless play from Karah Chaisson made sure the ball stayed in the opponents end.
