Toddler Bitten by Dog in Tewksbury

TEWKSBURY, MA - A child was bitten by a dog in Tewksbury early Saturday night requiring medical attention.

Reports of the incident came in just before 5:30 p.m. when a Medflight was requested for a serious trauma to the child. That request was later canceled and the child was transported to an area hospital by ambulance, reports say. The extent of the child's injuries are currently unknown.

Information is still coming in, but the incident reportedly occurred on Redgate Road and the child is said to be 3-years-old.
